I love to do this trick in an ultra slow motion

From a basic invert, gripping with your legs, take your hands in front of your chest on the pole, sending your hips upward drawing power from your core, be sure you grip the pole between your knees and ankles, once your bottom is toward the ankles, take your chest to the pole and slowly slither back down to your basic invert

The mistake many women make is keeping the chest away from the pole on the way down, and sliding to the thighs when pushing up. Without the proper grip between the knees, your hips will not achieve the height to complete the trick, and you can slip very easily.

*Always be sure to learn a new trick from an instructor with a proper spot

The first time I stepped foot into a studio I was nervous; palms sweating, legs shaking, and full of pre-conceived notions about pole dancing. Slowly, all of my expectations were broken down one by one, and I began an amazing journey.
 

In the pole dancing world there is a battle in proving ourselves; proving that this is a legitimate way for the everyday woman to get fit. Little do most woman realize, that once you begin this athletic, sensual journey, a light turns on; something that ignites us, connects us to who we are. What’s wrong with naturally moving our bodies to the sound of our favorite song? What’s wrong with moving sensually and feeling sexy?

In the safe private atmosphere of Unveiled, women shed all of their negative opinions about their bodies and about other women. I want women to feel like they can come into the studio, shut off the outside world, connect with the music and their bodies, take flight on a 17 ft pole, and aspire to be stronger for themselves. 

There is so much to worry about, husbands, kids, careers, family, and friends. To have a place where you just concentrate on you, why is that something we have to justify?

I am a strong, sensual woman, and it feels fabulous to be a part of this movement! As I to endure the daily struggles of life, for 2 hours I shut my head off and melt away.
